Reflecting on our September Step Challenge!

Posted on

Last month, Bakery de France took a major step—literally—towards promoting health and wellness by hosting our first-ever company-wide step challenge! With prizes on the line and friendly competition fueling the fun, our team stepped up to the challenge in a big way. We loved seeing everyone get active and explore local parks, which we recommended in our team newsletter. To cap off the month, we proudly sponsored a 5K event that brought our team together to celebrate our achievements.

A huge congratulations to Yves Mibela and Carlos Hermenegildo for winning the weekly challenges, and an extra round of applause to our top three steppers:
– 1st Place: Carlos Hermenegildo with an incredible 789,803 steps
– 2nd Place: Yves Mibela with 772,028 steps
– 3rd Place: R. Scott Williams with 732,217 steps

But that’s not all! We want to give a shoutout to Brittany Ryan, Casey Terrell, and Elton Coku for representing Bakery de France in the Food for Others 5K. The sun was shining, and the event was a huge success. Extra kudos to Elton, who finished 21st out of more than 300 runners—what a fantastic achievement!

We’re already looking ahead to more exciting wellness initiatives for the spring.

Keep stepping, team BdF!
